Is the Dolphins’ new ‘efficient market hypothesis’ worth watching?
The Dolphins’ offensive coordinator, Scott Linehan, said the new concept is not meant to be a blueprint to run the offense.
Instead, Linehan said the Dolphins have chosen to use this new concept to find out what works best for them.
Linehan was the quarterbacks coach with the San Diego Chargers last season and helped guide the Chargers to the playoffs.
He also worked with the New York Giants in 2016.
Linehan said he was “blown away” by how well the concept worked out in the first few weeks.
Linehans predecessor, Dan Campbell, said he didn’t think it was going to work well.
Campbell, who was fired last season, has since called Linehan’s hiring a “huge coup.”
Linehan did not respond to a request for comment on his hiring.
