HONG KONG — With the market in Hong kong open until Wednesday, locals have been able to make a lot of purchases.
But they have been having trouble finding a good source of fresh seafood.
There’s been a surge in demand for fresh fish from Japan, Australia, New Zealand, China and South Africa.
A Chinese fishing company, Sino Seafood, has also been offering fresh seafood to Hong Kongers.
The company has been able buy seafood from Hong Kong at a much higher price than what they could normally get in the mainland.
For a single item, you can get a 50 percent discount if you’re lucky enough to find a good supplier.
But when it comes to fresh seafood, Hong Kong’s market is just not big enough to sustain the market, according to Hong Kwong Tong, a fish market official in the city.
Hong Kongers need fresh fish for their meals, not just for their dinner, Wong said.
You can find some very good fish in Taiwan, but there are not enough places to buy from Hong kongs market, she said.
It seems like a problem with a lot less to do than just getting fresh fish, she added.
Some fish stores are opening up in Hong Kongs market.
They’re just not selling enough fresh fish to sustain it.
It’s a very expensive business to operate, said Wong, who works in the seafood trade at a fish shop.
Most fish sellers in Hong-Kong sell fish to other businesses.
But, she’s not worried.
The market is not as popular as the mainland market.
The prices of fresh fish are not as high as they are in the rest of the world.
The best places to find fresh seafood are in Japan, she explained.
People in Japan are buying fresh fish more and more because it’s cheaper than it is in China.
But if they find a fish they like in Hong dong, it will be sold there for a cheaper price, Wong added.
